Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DoAble ("we," "our," or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the DoAble mobile application. We've written this to be readable, not just legally safe.
1. What we collect
DoAble collects only what it needs to function:
- Account data — email address and display name if you create an account.
- Day context inputs — sleep quality, day load, and current energy level. These are stored to personalise your activity suggestions.
- Activity and session data — activities you create, complete, or skip, along with timestamps.
- Goal and preference data — what you selected during onboarding (wellness focus, activity types, intensity preferences).
- Group membership data — if you join a group, we store what is needed for invites, retro scheduling, and shared prep reports as described in the app.
- App usage data — basic analytics (screen views, session length, crash reports) to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity.
2. What we don't collect
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or other device data unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature.
- We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
- We do not use your personal data for advertising.
3. How we use your information
The data we collect is used exclusively to:
- Personalise your activity suggestions based on your goals and day context.
- Train our recommendation model — using anonymised, aggregated data only.
- Operate group features you join (including retro scheduling and prep snapshots visible to group members as disclosed in the app).
- Fix bugs and improve app performance.
- Send you optional notifications you can configure or disable at any time.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers hosted in the European Union. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data within our team is limited to what is strictly necessary for support and development purposes.
5. Third-party services
DoAble uses a limited number of third-party services to operate:
- Crash reporting — to detect and fix technical issues. No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports.
- Analytics — anonymised usage data to understand how the app is used in aggregate.
We do not integrate advertising SDKs or data broker services.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.

7. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.
8. Children's privacy
DoAble is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. The "Effective date" at the top will always reflect the current version.
